In 2017, the Judicial Council of California appointed Nicholas Connon to serve as a member of the Council’s Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instructions. He will continue to serve on the Committee through September 2027. The Judicial Council reviews and approves civil jury instructions and special verdict forms for use in California trial courts. The Advisory Committee regularly reviews case law and statutes affecting jury instructions and makes recommendations to the Judicial Council for updating, amending and adding topics to the Judicial Council’s jury instructions
