Nicholas Connon has been selected by the Office of the Ombudsman for the United Nations Funds and Programs for its Global Arbitration Counsel List. Mr. Connon will assist non-staff personnel as counsel to resolve conflicts and assist with mediation of disputes. The Office of the Ombudsman for the United Nations helps staff resolve workplace conflicts in an informal, confidential manner with the aim of maintaining a harmonious workplace environment. The Ombudsman system is an informal grievance procedure established within the UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UN-Women.
