Nicholas Connon was initially appointed in 2017 by the Judicial Council of California to serve as a member of the Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instructions . The Judicial Council reviews and approves civil jury instructions and special verdict forms for use in California trial courts. The Advisory Committee regularly reviews case law and statutes affecting jury instructions and makes recommendations to the Judicial Council for updating, amending and adding topics to the Judicial Council’s jury instructions. Mr. Connon was reappointed to serve on the Advisory Committee through September 14, 2021.
